What is this about?

Who receives my data?

- Right to erasure and restriction of processing: You have the right to request that data concerning you be deleted without undue delay, or alternatively to request the restriction of processing of the data.
- Right to data portability: You have the right to receive data concerning you which you have provided to us in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format, or to request its transmission to another controller.
- Complaint to a supervisory authority: You have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you consider that the processing of personal data concerning you infringes the GDPR.
Website provision
Nature and scope of processing
When you access our website, your browser automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is recorded without your intervention and stored until automated deletion:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Date and time of access
- Name and URL of the file retrieved
- Website from which the access was made (referrer URL)
- Browser used and, if applicable, the operating system of your device
- Name of your access provider

Processing is carried out to safeguard legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. The aforementioned data are processed by us for the following purposes: ensuring smooth connection of the website, ensuring convenient use of our website, evaluating system security and stability, and for other administrative purposes.
Storage period
Data are deleted as soon as they are no longer required to achieve the purpose of their collection. In the case of data collected for providing the website, this is when the respective session has ended. In the case of data stored in log files, this is after a maximum of 14 days.
Applicants
Nature and scope of processing
When you apply to us, we process your applicant data (e.g. contact and communication details, application documents, notes taken during interviews, etc.) to the extent necessary for the decision on establishing an employment relationship.
Purpose and legal basis
Processing is based on § 26 BDSG for the decision on establishing an employment relationship. Where data processing is based on your consent, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR is the legal basis.
Storage period
In the event of a rejection, applicant data are deleted after no later than 6 months. If you have consented to further storage of your personal data, we will transfer your data to our applicant pool and delete them after 2 years.
Google Tag Manager
Nature and scope of processing
We use the Google Tag Manager provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland. The Google Tag Manager is used to manage website tags via an interface. The Tag Manager itself (which implements the tags) is a cookieless domain and does not process personal data. The Google Tag Manager triggers other tags, which in turn may collect data.
Purpose and legal basis
The use takes place on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. We use the Google Tag Manager in order to efficiently integrate and manage various tracking and analytics tools.
Storage period
The Google Tag Manager itself does not store cookies and does not collect any independent data. The storage period of cookies set by the managed tags depends on the respective services and is described in the corresponding sections of this privacy policy.
Google Analytics
Nature and scope of processing
We use Google Analytics provided by Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland, as an analytics service for the statistical evaluation of our online offering. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect and analyse information about website usage. The collected data is typically transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. By activating IP anonymisation on this website, the IP address is shortened before transmission.

The use takes place on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. We use Google Analytics to analyse the use of our website and to improve it regularly. The statistics obtained enable us to improve our offering and to make it more interesting for you as a user.
Storage period
The data sent by us and linked to cookies are automatically deleted after 14 months. The deletion of data whose retention period has been reached takes place automatically once a month. You can also prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and relating to your use of the website by Google, as well as the processing of these data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser add-on.
LinkedIn Ads
Nature and scope of processing
We use the advertising services of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland ("LinkedIn"). For this purpose, conversion tracking is used within our LinkedIn advertising account. When you visit our website, LinkedIn sets a cookie on the user's device to track conversions.

LinkedIn Insight Tag
Nature and scope of processing
The Insight Tag of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland, is integrated on our website. When you visit our website, a connection is established to LinkedIn's servers and data such as IP address, timestamp, and information about your visit to our website is transmitted to LinkedIn. The data is transmitted encrypted.

Oribi

We use the web analytics service Oribi (LinkedIn Corporation). Oribi uses cookies and similar technologies to capture and evaluate interactions on our website. This includes information such as page views, clicks, form entries (without their content), and other user interactions.

Storage period
The exact storage period of the processed data is not influenced by us, but is determined by LinkedIn Corporation. Cookies set by Oribi have a lifetime of up to 12 months.
Social media
We maintain online presences within social networks in order to communicate with users active there and to inform them about our services. When you access the respective networks and platforms, the terms and conditions and data processing guidelines of the respective operators apply.
We refer to our presence on LinkedIn. In the context of our social media activities, your data may be processed outside the European Union. We process the data of users who communicate with us via social networks on the basis of our legitimate interests in effective information and communication with users pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
